Well, it doesn’t look like I’m anywhere near having the 9 Cats done for September. I’m actually under the gun to get the 3rd cat finished for the show at the Rose Theatre in Brampton. I’ve been pretty busy making living as a web designer/Marketer to work on the cats.
As you may have figured out by now… the Cat9 Kickstarter Project has died! So much for Kickstarter. I’ve decided to go ahead with the Cat9 project and see what happens. I’m no longer obliged to get the cats done by the deadline as I’m doing it on my own. That’s good and bad. It’s good because with running my own business, I have a lot on my plate. The bad part is it makes it easy to lose focus when other things crop up.
My goal is to have the “9” done by September and perhaps get a Gallery showing for the fall.
Working on Cat1. Coming along quite nicely. #Snuzplanet #Cat9

I didn’t want to start a new project or forge a head with Cat 1 until I knew what the outcome was going to be for the Cat9 project. So, while waiting to see what happens with the Cat9 project, a small project was in order… rat time!
Cat1 of Cat9. The progress begins.
Some details will be available under the menu “Spitz Stuff“, but for the full project you will have to become a backer. $3 CAD which is even less in US dollars!

Arthur is hanging out in the display cases at the Chinguacousy Branch Library in Brampton… 150 Central Park Drive (Inside the Bramalea Civic Centre).
The display is hosted by BigArtBuzz.com which is run and curated by my friend and artist Keith Moreau. Keith was one of the founding members and the president of Visual Arts Brampton and a huge driving force behind VAB for decades. I believe VAB would not exist today if it weren’t for his drive an passion to keep it going.
The answer to the “Be nice to get a Head!” contest is Arthur…
Arthur is now finished and is actually the spokes cat for my Kickstarter campaign. I’m hoping to raise enough funding to give me the time to pursue the entire project of 9 cats. The project is called “Cat 9 Project“. Now approved by Kickstarter and is now live! Please check it out.
If Cat 9 Project doesn’t get funded, I have another on the back burner so to speak… we’ll see.
I found Dan Reeder’s books very inspirational and useful. Check out these 2 great books from Dan Reeder “Dan the Monster Man”! You’ll enjoy them even if you never make anything.
